About Me

Hello… and welcome to my John L. Scott profile. I am so glad you are here. I love Whatcom County and all the diverse opportunities to live and work in this great area made up of our pristine rivers, snow bound mountains, clear fresh water and saltwater island coves. Who wouldn’t want to live here?

I found my way here after obtaining a degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin. I moved west and worked in several national parks along the way. I ended up in the Pacific Northwest in love with hiking the local mountains and sailing around the San Juan Islands and the Canadian Gulf Islands. As resident of Whatcom County for over 25 years I come from a background in oil and gas industry, marine industry and private education. Many of those years spent in a role as an educator, recruiter, liaison, negotiator, legal compliance coordinator, and concierge of all things recreational in the area. Truly a great place to live and work!

My years in these various roles has helped me gain valuable skills that allow me to provide exceptional service to clients. I pride myself on strong work ethics, attention to details and positive outcomes. My goal is to make each client feel confident and at ease with the process of buying or selling a home by providing a clear communication and updates along the way.
